Default Bot visits

Has anyone else noticed a HUGE increase in visits by Bots and crawlers?

In the last week or so, I've noticed a 10 fold increase in Bot visits. There are even some new ones I've never seen before. I have the usual, google, yahoo, whois, Baidu (I wish someone would nuke Baidu's site, but that's a different thread for another time) but now I'm seeing some new ones. These include Yanga, Busiversebot, and a couple of others from my previous log that I don't remember.

For those of you who check your logs regularly, have you noticed the same thing, or am I on one of the "lists".

Merry Christmas to all!

Vic,

Can you track "referring sites" as well.. Would be nice to know if any of those hits were from IAAP.

Tom

Maybe I should clarify. I can't tell from the logs if the bots are coming from IAAP. The numbers I shared are only direct hits from one of the IAAP pages.

Sorry for the confusion.

From what I can tell, the Bots and such aren't coming directly from IAAP.
