2008 is going down as my worst summer ever for my "Photographic" business. In fact, I think it may have killed my business. Not sure yet as I have a few late entries to shoot yet and a few outstanding invoices, but all in all; 2008 SUCKED!

This coming Wednesday Im off to Prudhoe Bay to teach cold water survival skills, just hope I survive! I'll make more money in the last two weeks of August than I made all summer. And that my friends... is dismal....

Thursday I had a software glitch on the shoot and that messed up my day pretty bad. Then on Saturday I was with the USCG & AUX patrolling the Tugboat Races in Seattle. It was cold, but no rain!

The work.....It keeps coming!

Posted 12-16-2007 at 08:21 AM by Thomas Bliss
I am really surprised at how much work I have done in the first 14 days of December. I have shot five days, post processed five days, had two days of scouting, and two days of R&R.

In a month that I usually can count on as being slow has been my busiest month of the year, and the bids are still going out! I bid on 10 days of work that will start June 2008, and got those jobs confirmed on Friday. And I have the RFP jobs bids still out with a good chance at at least three or...
